The most nickel-and-dime charging I have ever seen. Billing is insane. $60 charge for providing a tracking number! Erin's rate went up halfway through the case and we were not warned. We get $250 charges over unrequested 2 sentence emails. No idea how this place gets its good reviews. Would never use again or recommend to anyone. We have not dealt with Kim, only with Erin.

I regret ever hiring the Paton Law firm and hope nobody else makes the same mistake that I did. The Paton Law Firms work was sloppy and mistake filled from the start and they were not responsive or professional throughout the very short time they represented me. Her promise to keep our costs down by using her staff do the work at a lower rate proved false as every charge came in at her full rate. When I questioned those charges, I was told I shouldve been charged even more. After firing Mrs. Paton and submitting a dispute with the office of attorney ethics they became very eager to speak to me and reach a settlement. Im not sure how she has so many good reviews, which helped convince me to work with her in the first place, but I actually believe using Kimberly Paton as my attorney hurt my bargaining position and wasted my time and money.

Excellent Service. Kimberly Paton is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personal. Our needs were addressed and explained to us in a very personable way. Our questions were answered and our thoughts and options were addressed in terms my daughter and I could understand completely. Friendly office without any wait time. We recently prepared new wills, living wills, health proxies and created a family trust prepared by the Paton Law Firm. While it was not a speedy process, it was thorough with many suggestions made by Kimberly Paton, several meetings and document exchanges and ultimately the execution of the documents at their parking lot (as a result of the Covid-29 virus). While most clients would end at that point, I decided to change some of the provisions after we signed our documents. The firm quickly replied to my request and the document involved was changed within 24 hours. This was truly a rewarding experience.
