First and last experience. I walked in (2 ladies working, or not), not one person said hi or even acknowledged my presence. Even when I was just feet away from the counter where one of the women had her back to me the whole time. Did the half turn with her head but never acknowledged me. Terrible first impression and lack of customer service. I have no clue as to why this place has a five star rating. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option.
Employees are always friendly, so is the cat! Unique and interesting items for sale from books to clothes to sewing supplies. Jewelry on display is lovely.
Hello Kristen, I am very sorry for your experience. We are a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers ( most are 70 + years old) and they are different everyday. Many of the staff have been with me for 20 + years. We pride ourselves on customer service but we also let the customer shop with the knowledge that you can and are encouraged to ask for help. To assume the person with her mask hanging from her ear is the manager or owner is not fair to either position. I would love to discuss this matter with you further and try to figure out who the identity of the volunteer staff so we can rectify this incident and prevent future ones.
