We went on a Tuesday night and had a 30 minute wait. That is usually a good sign of a quality restaurant. We took some co-workers from out of town to a local institution. The fried platter was lightly battered and very tasty. The scallops and oysters on the platter were huge. The snapper fillet was a little overcooked but still tasty. Would go back when entertaining tourists to the area.
The food was lacking quality and flavor.I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo. The sauce tasted canned. We also ordered fried green tomatoes. I have had much better than these. The dipping sauce that accompanied the tomatoes was good. Good red beans and rice.Waitress was super friendly.Sub-par food, but great service.
