Hi Joel & Amy, We apologize about the negative experience you had with us, much of which could have been avoided with better communication and correct information. Our factory does its best to produce the highest quality products it can, and constantly find ways to improve the product and fix issues customers are unhappy about. Over the past year, we have improved the hardware, the dovetail drawer pieces, stain and color issue, and are currently working on better assembly instructions. Unfortunately, we have never had a customer with so many issues with incorrect holes and frames, but we will have the factory check these issues. There are a few things we want to clarify. -We know the cabinets come with terrible assembly instructions that are in Chinese which is why in the shipping confirmation email it says Disregard the assembly instructions that come with the cabinets as they are not good. You can find more helpful assembly instructions here: http://www.bestonlinecabinets.com/assembly-instruction.html. -We will not deny our customers replacement items for damages during shipping or because of quality issues. All that needs to be done is to send us a picture of the damaged item as well as the part that you will need. From our perspective: -First replacement: you requested several frames due to them not fitting the side panels properly and a few doors because you thought there were sharpie marks, but are actually wood knots and wood joints. All requested items were shipped. Second replacement: you requested the same frames again because the replacement frames did not fix the issue although the pictures provided showed no issues with the frame. You also requested a frame for a cabinet not in your order. We wanted to make sure there is no confusion and to send you items that will fix the issue which delayed the replacement process. You then demanded that we send you three new cabinets until we clarified and you agreed that you only needed a few side panels which were sent out the same day. We appreciate the feedback as it shows areas we can improve, but when you copy and paste the same review on multiple review sites, is your intent to share your experience or something else? Pros: We love the color Cons: Damaged cabinets, doors, and frames: -Some damage from shipping, was replaced promptly (the first time), like broken cabinet pieces, cracks in doors and frames -Some "damage" was poor staining on doors, knicks and broken sealant or glue showing on frames and doors -Some "damage" was completely ridiculous, like someone at the factory using a sharpie to cover a natural knot in the wood, or marking a big X with a pen on a stained cabinet Incorrect holes: Crooked screw holes Incorrectly placed screw holes, either you couldn't place the frame because of the location of the screw that was supposed to line up with the cam lock and wouldn't even line up with the hole at all, or you follow a screw hole just to break the backing of the cabinet -Screw holes that were not completely drilled through -Wood peg holes that were so off if you used the pegs you couldn't place the frame -Missing pre-drilled holes from the inside of the doors Frames: -The groove to go over the top/bottom of the cabinet was beveled crooked, or not wide enough -Forcing straight frames onto bowed cabinets may work, but its noticeable when you hang doors Assembly Videos: -Because the instructions come in Chinese?, there are assembly videos, which do not tell you what screws are for what, and there are only so many videos, there is not one for each type of cabinet. Second shipment w/ replacement parts: -Here is where the real fun began, we had asked for replacement frames that simply would not fit the cabinet fronts, only to find out the frames were perfectly fine, the cabinets were so bowed the frames would not fit them, as they were more square. -After a rude response suggesting we were making all these issues up and they never have this many problems in one kitchen. And that we should push and bend everything into place, we began assembling the cabinets backwards, removing screws and wood pegs, "pushing and bending" the frames as instructed and the frame cracked, a shelf split and the top of the frame was pulling away from the cabinet so badly you could see 1/4" of the hardware trying to hold it in there. Third Shipment with replacement parts: -We were promised they would inspect the cabinets so we would have no trouble finishing up our install. In two of the boxes the hardware box was not secured and scraped the shelving in SO many noticeable spots, that we had to pick and choose between the first super bowed cabinet and the second supposedly good cabinet to get something together that didn't look beat up. We still had to bend and push to and remove screws and replace screws to get everything together. -I demanded these replacement parts, and in response to being told "we've already sent you so many parts" I said I would gladly send the damaged, bowed, unusable parts back. Upon which I was told I would be sent a return shipping label. Two weeks later, I still have no label, still have cabinet parts and boxes everywhere, and am STILL being inconvenienced by BAD product! I do NOT want to bother with packing these back up and lugging these out to the end of the drive (unless its for the trash man!) and arranging a pick up, just like I did NOT want all these assembly issues, damage issues, and waiting of a combined month for replacement parts. The bottom line is, this was a HORRIBLE experience for my husband and I. The reviews and website made this look and sound like it would be a fairly easy, do-able process that should not have been drawn out as much as it has been. The cabinets that went together easily took 15-30 min, the rest of them took hours each. We're very capable, handy people. Shame on us for assuming your "Ready to Assemble Cabinets" were actually ready to assemble. We will not be recommending your product to anyone. We expected such a better experience than this, higher quality of product, and better response to these issues from customer service. You call out the big box stores in your "about us" section, but it would have been well worth the extra money not to have gone through all this.
