There is a shortage of dentists in the UK which is making attracting dentists to certain areas of the country more difficult and we are experiencing challenges in recruiting to the area. However, we are looking at all options to attract and re-locate dentists to your practice. Please be assured that the vacancies are not through any lack of trying or apathy on our part, purely that recruiting dentists, is proving difficult. However, whilst we are recruiting, if you experience a dental emergency, e.g. pain, swelling or bleeding then you can still contact the practice and they will triage your symptoms and advise you how obtain emergency assistance until the practice is fully staffed. Complete waste of time even contacting this dentist, called on 20 June, broken front tooth, in pain and the tooth was ragged. First available appointment 27 July, they only have a dentist 2 days a week, pointless having the practice. No doubt the reply will have we have advertising vacancies for dentists, which means nothing to anyone needing treatment.

Absolutely joke of a dentist, been trying for over a week to get an emergency appointment to keep being told no appointments due to them only having one dentist, not my problem!! Your duty of care is terrible!!

Seen David the dentist on monday for a emergency appointment threw devon docs and was in a really bad state with a abcess that had swollen half of my face to the point that I couldn't think of anything but the pain. David was fantastic and completely straight with how much the lance procedure was going to hurt but he kept me calm and got me out of pain. Thank you

Worst customer service. They sent me two texts reminding me of my appointment. When I turned up, they told me that my appointment was cancelled. I asked why no one had called me. "Haha, I guess we should have done that." the receptionist said. Haha indeed. She booked me in for the next again day. I specifically asked for an appointment for fillings, but when I came back the next day the dentist told me I was booked in for a 10 minute emergency appointment only and she had no time to do anything. So essentially I spent 3 hours travelling back and forth over 2 days for nothing, and the dentist didn't care that it was their mistake, and refused to do anything. I guess the posters they have everywhere reminding people to "Be Kind" are only for patients. I will never go back here.
