Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your perspective. I do think that it may be based at least in part on misunderstanding. We do not charge to provide results per se. Reviewing any test results is an important part of the medical decision-making process of the doctor-patient relationship. Ideally this occurs in a face-to-face meeting during which the doctor can put any test results in clinical perspective relative to the patient. This then usually leads to discussion regarding what comes next e.g. treatment options. Frequently there are questions to be addressed as well, all of which requires time and expertise. In other words what to do with the results is not the same thing as the results themselves. I hope this helps you understand things better. That said, because of your feedback I will try to make sure that if patients want only test results without explication of same that that will be made perfectly clear. I have a clear understanding of a copay to see the specialist, that's transparent. I am not cognizant of home sleep study testing and staying at the facility fees the same, however, it is a choice YOU can make... *home or at the facility.* Now we are on a new level when you do NOT have the option but to pay another fee to get your results. Getting an email or logging on a website is not an option, you literally are required (if you want results) to make an appointment. The component added to this experience, once you are presented with the information and you are Not engaged in what proceeds, you have ONLY paid for your study results. Keep in mind my friend, everyones copay fluctuates. I cannot say this was their protocol (various fees)prior to the pandemic, however, know process is written in stone. Just a little enlightenment for future patiences.

Just finished my overnight sleep test. Kyle was my tech and did a great job of explaining and hooking me up to the system. Very clean facility, comfy beds and kind staff.
