*increased review to 3 stars as I had a follow up call due to this review from Andy who was friendly/polite and came across as genuinely caring. I'll be using bowker Preston for servicing due to location so will happily adjust again if the service warrants it. Previous review wording... Just no interest in selling cars from my experience, no call back to test drive an x3. As a car lover I love a good chat about cars but having a conversation here was like getting blood out of a stone. Came to look at an i3 recently and I felt like I was an inconvenience. I've ended up buying a brand new x3 elsewhere and collecting a used i3 this week from elsewhere.

Just to update. Bought Luxury Active Tourer in April with 12 months Guarantee and in June reported an obnoxious smell from the ventilation/ac system. Checked under bonnet and no sign that anything had crawled in and died. Phoned Bowker to be told that they could sanitize the system for 39.99. or put it on their diagnostics for ?. I would have thought that if you buying a used car it would have been sanitised as a matter of course, especially with Covid! And what about the Guarantee? Sorry Bowker you have just gone down in my esteem. Is this a case of false promises to get the sale or are they as good as their word. remains to be seen? Looking to replace my Ford Focus and having been to Evans Halshaw, the main ford dealer, to look at buying a Kuga just to be ignored I decided to look at a BMW. Chris, one of the sales team asked if he could help and I had already decide on the car I fancied. Went through the pros and cons with Chris and he asked if we like a test drive but he would be unable to accompany us because of Covid precautions. We went through Penwortham on the A59, onto the Golden Way, A6528 and then doubled back to the Bowkers. Chris saw our return and came straight out to greet us and discuss the test drive. I pointed out a couple of things and went inside to discuss a deal. Chris was very attentive and efficient and felt he had our best interests at heart. The wife and I decided to go home and discuss the offer at home when the adrenalin had stopped pumping and we were not star struck. Phoned Chris later and told him we would be buying the car. I had contacted lots of dealers nation wide for quotes for my Titanium Focus and Bowkers topped them all and a little extra. I found all the staff extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgeable but a special thanks to Chris who made the whole process flow and never pressured us. Thank you Bowkers.

Nearly ordered a car from these before I realised BMW hadn't fixed the reoccurring fault that prevents their vehicles from steering to the left on a motorway and displaying an amber flashing light whilst doing so. Impressed with the rest of the car but they really need to get this fault resolved. (in answer to the response below, I meant an indictor and the abilty to keep in the left lane unless overtaking)
