Sorry you were not satisfied with the service. We went beyond the scope of what a typical inspection consist of, and you even received some services free of charge. We even offered a one year home warranty which you will see at the bottom of your report. You said there were multiple things that were missed during your inspection which is simply false. Your only complaint has been about an old water damage/mold issue that was concealed above ceiling finish at the time of inspection, You didnt even discover this issue until you decided to take down ceiling for remodel. It has been over two years since the inspection was completed, and we still came out after the fact free of charge to look at the concealed damage. We even gave you free mold testing services. Well I guess you cant please everyone. Like I said the scope of inspection went beyond industry standard, but we will take your review under advisement, sorry you were not satisfied with the great inspection that you received. *Darrul is so "professional" that he is actually communicating with me via his reviews and adjusting his responses - current count: 2* Just don't. If I could give zero stars, I would. Darrul Stocks, the owner, of Stocks Home Inspection missed several things during our inspection that cost us a great deal later on. Darrul did literally the bare minimum; never once did he go above and beyond anything. He did not perform things that were required of him and being first time home owners, we assumed what he was doing was enough. Darrul missed mold and water damage concealed below a drop ceiling that Darrul did not look behind that cost us a tremendous amount of money after the fact. His claims are that he can test for mold and water damage but he did not do so during our inspection. He returned following our discovery and stated in a report that the mold and water damage was there before our purchase yet he missed it in his inspection. Additionally, his company never answers their phone and takes several days to return phone calls. He is also incorrect in his response, which additionally shows his lack of professionalism: we were absolutely not remodeling anything in the home or in the room where the mold was discovered; the free services were offered as an apology for missing the mold the first time; the inspection occurred less than a year and a half before the mold was discovered. I would not recommend him to anyone. Hiring him was the biggest regret we have in our home purchase process.
