We also neglected to provide in detail what you should expect with this type of repair. This was a failure on our part to proactively communicate with you at the completion of the repair. After closely examining our breakdown in communication with you, I can clearly see how you would be disappointed after we returned your vehicle. I am so sorry we caused you to feel this way. In the case of the brake pads and rotor resurface, I am happy to report that BMW and Sewell could partner on your behalf to cover the repair under the manufacturer warranty. While this is normally a maintenance item, it was clear in your case it was a product defect and you were by no means responsible. First time i took my vehicle here it needed brake fluid service and the steering was shaking whenever i went over 50 or was breaking. They charged me for brake fluid service even though it was under warranty and they replaced the brakes and serviced the rotors and when i got my car back it was still doing the same thing and the steering wheel was shaking. I own multiple car repair facilities and the only reason i took it to bmw is because its still under warranty. I checked the car myself and found out they never even replaced the brake fluid we did multiple tests at my location and i notified the dealership and they took the car back and they reserviced the rotors and now the service manager said i will continue hearing the sound of the brakes for 500 miles until they "set" which ive never heard of. Ive been in the car business for 16 years and that is not even a thing. Ill be contacting my lawyer and we will go from there. Wish i could give 0 stars. Even the manager didnt even apology for not changing my brake fluid the first time and charging me for it. That is a scam! I own multiple mercedes and ive never had one issue at the mercedes dealership.
Ive been to this dealership twice this review is solely about the servicing department. The only experience Ive had with anyone in their sales department has been stellar. The first time I went in for an alignment and they told me there was 5-6k of suspension repairs needed. I asked to get a second opinion and they charged me labor because they had already put the car on the lift. The kicker was they couldnt get the wheels in alignment because of the suspension issue. However, because they put the car on the lift and attempted it I was told I still still had to pay for an alignment. I then took the car to classic bmw and showed them the replacement parts breakdown I was provided, and they told me there was absolutely no reason to replace all the parts at once. They replaced the one part the mechanics believed was the issue, charged me 1/4 of what was quoted and aligned the car twice (once for free to make up for sewell charging me). The suspension issue was solved after that, and the car went into alignment both before and after the part was fixed (maybe sewell mechanics arent as well trained?). This second time has been smoother only because anything they qoute me over $150 for I plan to get done at classic or myself. That being said both times I was told I wouldnt have to wait for a loaner, and both times I waited over an hour for a loan car and both times my service advisor did not communicate with me. I took my car to Sewell because it saves me ~20 miles of driving to get to classic, I wont be back. Additionally Im younger than the average customer and because of that maybe they feel as though Im not worth their time?

I would give this 5 stars cause everyone is great and professional. HOWEVER, the price the quoted me for an oil/filter change was 100$ than actual. It was almost a bait and switch. UPDATE 6/1/2022: I have updated my review from 4 to 5 stars. REASON. The business was very responsive and explained that the price quoted on the phone didn't take into consideration what else could be needed for my VIN/mileage. They even offered me to refund me the difference. I appreciate the prompt response from Sewell.
