Called High Resolution to set up an appointment to speak with an artist and get a quote for a piece I wanted. I was told to just come in and don't worry about an appointment. When I got there the tattoo artist told me she doesn't do what I wanted and told me to leave my number and another artist would get in touch with me. I never recieved a phone call and have since taken my buisness elsewhere.

I went in for my first tattoo and the artist was was cool, patient, and made the experience easy for me. The environment was friendly, clean, and welcoming. Update* The tattoo healed and didn't look as great as when it was first done. A lot of the ink came off (even though I kept it moisturized & clean) and made the tattoo look aged--some of the lines were faded and you can see very little detail. Overall it's not horrible, but compared to his other work, this tattoo wasn't his best quality. I did speak to the artist and he said he would correct whatever is needed, however, I'd rather go to another artist that displays consistency. I will probably go to Eric Guidry in Lafayette to go over it again. Their retainer is the same but the quality is different. Update* 04/16 after my previous update, I was sent a very unprofessional and condescending text at 8am about my review from Markus Bankhead. I'll be sure to let anyone that asks me about a tattoo know about my after experience with Markus Bankhead. Remember to go to Eric Guidry! Go browse his website for some amazing CONSISTENT pieces .

I'm sorry for your experience with Chris but he is moving to a different shop soon ,so if you could possibly remove this review from our shops page so that it doesn't reflect poorly on High Resolution as a whole, it would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure one of our other artist would be willing to work with you. Chris Starscream had a month to work with me on my tattoo and all I got for my hundred dollars was a pieced together sketch for my full back piece and he kept 50 dollars of my down posite and he said it was my responsibility to schedule a consultation. Like really I'm the customer I don't know your schedule I'm not a mind reader and he never contacted me first I had to push to get him to talk to me. And that was just through a text and I'm getting a full back piece I felt like I wasn't a valued customer I fully expect to pay a few grand to get this tattoo totally disappointed I would never recommend this place after that. More over he didn't care to listen to what he did wrong he put all of the blame on me like really guy you are getting f***ing paid by me for your time
