This is what international travel should be! Ive taken several extended travel trips over the years and theyre are some must haves when choosing an airline. I definitely need comfort. Youre going to be sitting in a seat for over 12+ hours and probably will be next to a stranger. I need the maximum stretch room even though Im 55 1/2. Then, friendly and helpful cabin crew. EVA went above and beyond my expectations. I did choose the premium economy which gave me even more room and better choices for lunch and dinner items. When I got to my seat I had a bottle of water, cozy blanket and care package for toiletries and slippers. We all had individual screens to watch the most current movies as well as music. As I buckled in I was welcomed with a refreshing cold compress and menu to get an idea of food choices for the next day. Then, the food! You will never go hungry. We were served several times and in between those times we had snack options. I normally try not to be that passenger that rings for service but I was trying to battle off a cold. Theyre were accommodating to bring me tea and check on me. It was a great experience and when it was time to get my bags are in a specific order. Premium economy bags are pushed out first. Now thats service. I thought that was pretty cool. Im spoiled and the other airlines are going to have to step their game.
I should actually put 0 stars. Very counter - productive. Sit and wait 3 hours to unload or load and they close on you, even though you've been waiting all that time.
