I had a very high conflict divorce and I did not find him aggressive, understanding or key into what was needed most for me or my CHILDREN! He was consistent but I most definitely did not feel like he had my best interest in mind or that he truly was an advocate for me nor was he a voice for me in the court room. He has no experience with an opponent who is a clinical narcissist. With the seriousness of my case and how long it has lasted and now being a single mother of four and having been diagnosed with complex post Trumatic stress. If you can relate to any of these. I would NOT Recommend him as your lawyer. The one thing I can say about him that I found helpful was that he was quick to reply to emails. But the whole purpose for an attorney is for them to be your voice in the court room. I dont recommend him as your lawyer. The whole purpose for an attorney is to be your voice in the court room and with mediation to be a real advocate. Especially for what is paid to him, he was definitely not that voice for me.

Showed up to court unprepared. We had a custody/child support hearing and he constantly turned around to his client asking for pay stubs and such. Client got $0 after paying this clown to represent her. Good thing I was the one on the other bench. Get this guy if you want poor representation for a ton of money. Not worth it.

After searching and meeting with a few different attorneys John was the only one that made me feel welcome and comfortable for me to allow someone to help me with my divorce. My divorce was not easy to deal with specifically with a very obsessive, offensive and very unreasonable ex partner. John not only help me with my separation but also helped me stay calm and focus on what matters the most.. After all this in the end I got everything I was asking for and more! But more importantly I now have split custody of my kids. If you're looking for someone that understands family, friends and someone that cares and wants to help you deal with your divorce John Larsen is definitely the man for the Job!
