Hi Carlos, As discussed more than happy to roll the booking deposit forward to when you get your flights sorted. However, we have done considerable work already, booking and changing documentation to suit. If you cancel your booking the deposit is non-refundable. This was disclosed to you at time of booking. We need to cover our costs for work done.

Terrible feedback unfortunately; Upon some errors from their own staff a shipment needed to be re-scheduled, and now, after having personally to cancel plans after all, and having had 4 flights to NZ cancelled, this company is refusing to refund my $500 bond back; I have no choice but to pursue the legally established means to get my money back. Fortunately we have Consumer Right's laws in this country.

Hi Anthony, I appreciate the delays have been frustrating for you, and its frustrating for us also, but as we have explained the wash bay at the Port is thousands of cars behind due to all the lockdowns over the past months. There is nothing we can do to jump the queue. We did provide you multiple times before shipping our pre-shipment checklist and you choose not to read this vital document which includes cleaning recommendations to avoid delays. Im not sure how we could inform you better when we have advised you this on several occasions. Our invoice was 100% as per the quote, with the only addition being your cleaning. Anthony, I hear your frustration in our phone conversations and this review, but we did not treat you in the manner you describe.

Never again. My car was collected in NZ on March 10 and was delivered to me on August 6. Almost 5 months and their original indication was 5 -6 weeks. The basic problem was they provided no meaningful advice on how to manage or expedite the shipping, their business approach is to sign you up and then charge every possible fee along the way, including some egregious fx rates which they had to reverse. When I tried to work out what was happening they alternatively told me it was my fault as I hadn't read their emails carefully enough or that the delivery end was a "fiasco" they had no way to know about. Even when the car was finally available and I was trying to pick up directly from the port, they had arranged a further delayed transport and when I asked if they could change that, the response was "you call them". Never again, learn from my experience and find someone who really wants to advise as well as just charge.

Taurus Car Logistics NZ (Chch) was a pleasure to deal with, and tried their best to explain what to expect every step of the way while still being very clear about areas they aren't meant to advise on (car cleaning, etc. ). The nz website has also very clear guidelines and website urls for customers to refer to. However their AU office (Melb) was more challenging to deal with, with no clarity provided as to what is expected of us when the car arrives. How are we meant to know what we don't know? Calls to the Melbourne office person made us feel like we were a nuisance to deal with, which is not a pleasant experience. Have they forgotten that moving a family vehicle from one country to another is not a common occurrence for customers ? It is a stressful and uncertain experience. Even if they are not licensed to provide any advice on the subsequent AUVIS inspections, docs, then at least for god sake give us some general guidelines and refer us to the required AU government websites so we know what to do; we didn't even know where to start! It really felt like we were hand- held all the way through from the NZ side only to be ignored and left to figure things out ourselves when we were on the AU side of the process. Clearly a market (AU vs NZ) misalignment on what an international business like Taurus defines a positive customer experience to be. I hope the Country Managers are reading this.
