Would give them a zero if possible. Me and my partner applied, we were denied "due to credit" so we were told to get a cosigner. We applied again with a cosigner and it got approved. 4 days later the application got denied, re-approved and denied again within 15 minutes. When I called to question this I got transferred around for about half an hour before someone said "we only use the credit for the people that are gonna be living here, cosigners are only used when the applicants income is insufficient". They made me waste $1000 ($500 per application) that took forever to be refunded. And on top of that we had to scramble to get an apartment in 3 days because of them. Another apartment management company helped us out and we found an amazing place. Later on I came to find out that one of my coworkers girlfriend used to work with them and she told me that I should be more than glad I dodged that bullet. And if you're like me and think "that most be a Karen complaining about anything possible", just know I'm in my early 20s and so is my partner and together we make over 110K a year yet we got denied. Try to put those pieces together yourself.
Ive lived here in two separate apartments since 2019. I dont recommend moving here unless you have an excess of patience. The leasing office and head of maintenance have consistently been rude and unhelpful in my time here. Ive been dealing with weed smoke and odor coming into my unit through the vents since April and have been trying unsuccessfully to get management to address the issue since (this is a no smoking apartment building.) Combined with the shoddy construction and issues with other residents lack of control over their dogs, living here has been a frustrating experience. Edit: Rent prices were raised by $600+ a month. If it wasnt worth living here before, it most definitely isnt now.
One North is by far the best!! It's a beautiful property with amazing amenities! It really has it all! In fact, they have two of most things, gyms, pools, movie theaters, and two incredible residential club areas! I really enjoy grilling out in the courtyard, playing basketball on the indoor court And most of all taking the puppy at the dog park! :) There's always something going on at One North, they throw so many fun events for residents with food and prizes. It's a great way to get to know your neighbors and make new friends. The location is perfect in walking distance to some great new Chelsea restaurants and just a block from the commuter rail! All of the staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. It's obvious the people that work here take pride in the community and I highly recommend living here! Take a tour and tell them Jimmy sent you! You're gonna love living here! :)
I lived in One North of Boston for 1 year. The facilities were always clean and the aparments condition was great. However, the most important factor for my review is my experience with the staff, they were always above and beyond to provide an excellent service to my outmost satisfaction. I miss living there.
I love our apartment, the community, and the staff that work here. My husband and I have now lived at One North for 3 years and love it. I would have given a 5 star review, instead of the 3.5 stars that I have, if not for our trouble with parking. We rent a 3 bedroom and so have been provided with parking for 2 cars. We use our cars mostly on weekends for running errands. The last few months it has happened that every time we return after our shopping we are unable to find a spot despite having a parking sticker. There are random cars that do not have parking stickers that have parked in One Norths parking lot. It is extremely frustrating to not find parking because your parking spots have been taken by people who should not park there. Since the parking lots are not gated, it appears anyone parks in the One North lots and since all you get is a warning for doing it, nobody appears to care about parking their cars in a private lot. I would strongly recommend that One North install fob-activated gates (like at the entrance of our buildings and the parking garage) so that only people who actually live in the buildings park in the parking lots and we (people who pay rent) get to park our cars instead of spending 30 mins trying to find a spot around the area.
