The eye check up procedure is standardized and OK. However, the sales staff does a poor job in selling eye frames. I was looking for Persol frames and visited this place three times. Each time I have encountered the same lady in the sales. She appears to have limited knowledge about Persol frames. When I asked whether Persol has 50mmm frames, she confidently answered Persol makes frames staring from 52mm onward. I had done my research beforehand and showed her 50mm Persol frames in the store itself (although the store carries limited models in Persol). In the process of attending to my queries, she shifted to other customers - this happened the three times I visited. I simply left the store after waiting for a while. I guess Clarence eye care requires a better trained sales staff.This is disappointing and I will not refer anyone to purchase eye wear from this store.

I take concerns and issues to heart and want everyone to have an exceptional experience when they come to Clarence Eye Care. We always strive to improve and I can assure you that we have used this review as a opportunity to reinforce the importance of only the best care and customer service. I will say that I am not a fan of double booking, as I feel that everyone should be given an appropriate amount of time to address all their needs and concerns without being rushed. My family and I are new to the area. I was referred to Clarence Eye Care by my neighbor. She told me about night time lens that her children wear at night. My husband and I were very interested in this since two of our children are involved in sports, especially swimming. Last Friday, I called to make an appointment with Dr. Murphy. I believe it was Toni ( sorry if I spelled the name wrong) who answered the phone. When I tried to make an appointment for four of my children, my husband, and I, she gave me sass and cut me off as I tried to explain my situation as a disabled mother. My husband is the only one who can drive us all but can't drive us separately due to his work schedule. Toni didn't try to understand my position and didn't want to even listen to what I was trying to explain to her. Rude. Undeducated. She hung up the phone on me. I was confused on why my neighbor referred me to this practice. When I told my neighbor about this, she told me that she is sorry for the bad experience I had over the phone, and agrees since she also had a bad experience with her and would like to speak to Dr. Murphy about the new front desk receptionist at her next visit. I am glad that I was able to find a practice who was able to understand me and happily double book my family and I as new patients.

This was the best experience Ive had with an eye care business. The eye exam and contact lens sizing that Dr. Scaduto provided to me was exceptional. All the staff I interacted with in the office were friendly and professional. I highly recommend having your eye care needs met at the Clarence Eye Care.

Used to like coming to this office until now. I never scheduled a next routine appointment due to being in Alaska and then forgetting when I returned due to buying a home ect. When I had an eye issue recently and requested to be seen I spoke to the receptionist (Maggie?) and she blamed my red/itchy/blurry eyes when wearing contacts to not scheduling an appointment when I was asked a couple months ago. She literally argued back and forth with me on the phone until I said ok I just would like to be scheduled for an appt to be seen so she would stop. She was extremely rude and stated her next appointment isnt until a few months from now. Guess its time to move on from this office!
