If you're not well dressed, you will be ignored. the consignment associate is also ignorant. If you want the item to be returned to you, it can take over a month. Be careful before you send in your bag in for quote because your item can be sold at 30% off on top of the quote they give you and some will get even more discount like 40-50% so if your commission is 55%, your actually commission rate will be 30-50% less than the 55% commission. All I can say is this company used to be good, I would never sell/buy from this company again.

When you send the items to be sold, the Rep ignores you for days to weeks at a time!!! They quote you one price but list it at 5 times less, then they sell it for a price you would NEVER agree to sell at and ignore all your texts, calls and emails !!! And say oh well sorry when you lose over $1000 on a high end designer item. They Don't Care and they're only nice in the beginning to get your stuff then they do as they wish!!! Stay away!!

I have been coming here since the store opened. Honestly it is hit or miss. It should not be. After consigning and not finding things, I was encouraged to shop on line. When a store offers this service, the sizing, and descriptions should be extremely accurate. $11.95 both ways, if you dont want the item is a restocking fee. Because of this, I decided I would mainly purchase jewelry. Their jewelry selection is amazing! I live in the city so I prefer to shop in store. There are item that say available in store, I come to try on and purchase in store. Majority of the time, if the item is at a certain price point or a fantastic deal, they cannot find it. Every time. I end up having to order it to be shipped and wait. Ive waited for up to 2 weeks for items to be told they cancelled my order. The staff here at the Soho location can be very accommodating, welcoming even or try to make you feel like you are wasting their time. As sales associates,they are here to help me have a great experience spending my money, site credit or whatever. When some associates see site credit they act like its not money earned from my sales and have behaved differently. I referred people and they say they have been treated poorly at this location, undervaluing their consignments, rejecting approved brands, questioning authenticity. It is prejudice. Racial, mostly from my experience. This gatekeeper style of shopkeeping is pasé. Treat every customer as if they are spending a million in your store. It was this way in the beginning. Please go back to this model.
