The above mentioned lawsuit was in regards to copyright infringement of an Indianapolis skyline photo that I DID NOT upload to the clients site, nor did any employee of Startup Production. In my attempt to intercede on the clients behalf, and communicate with the claimant, I was also pulled into the lawsuit. The claimant, a retired copyright lawyer, was termed by others as a copyright troll who had spent the last 10 years suing 100s of businesses, often small businesses. I have used this unfortunate incident as a cautionary tale to prevent ANY small business owner I come in contact with to be aware of the dangers of copyright infringement.
