I was called by Raben HR to schedule an interview. The recruiter sent an email confirming the time and date. She never showed up. I emailed twice and she did not reply. I emailed the generic HR email and got a friendly automated response that I would be hearing back from them within 3 business days. Crickets. I also tried messaging the recruiter on LinkedIn to clear up any misunderstanding and to professionally let her know that I was still interested and she visited my profile and then...SHE DECLINED MY CONTACT REQUEST. I was nothing but responsive and professional and SHE is the one that called ME. Im floored that a recruiter would a) ghost a scheduled interview b) not respond to a follow up from said candidate c) not accept a contact request from someone she identified as a viable candidate and d) treat people so poorly. Ive never left a poor review on google but this is not ok. If this is how they treat candidates what is it like to work there!?
Greeting yesterday evening myself and a colleague attended your event for the Rep. Sharice Davids & Charlotte Clymer. They were great! However we felt uncomfortable by the way people looked at us as if we didn't belong, I know I was underdressed for the event but I put alot of effort into attending this event. Quite confusing because I was trying to gather historical information relating to business and event connecting to the LGBTQ, since I'm a senior finishing up my bachelor's, we thought The Raben Group had history that needed to be capture for the LGBTQ community in DC, instead we got the UNWANTED vibes. Not to mention we were black and I am a lesbian which pulled us more to attend. Everyone was uncomfortable to speak with us. As I was leaving I wanted to overlook the dirty vibes but when I ask for more info about that event and future events alongside the history, i was told to view your website/facebook. We ended up leaving about 6:20pm with complete disappointment. I probably will not recommend any of my colleagues to this company if that's the way people get treated.
