Starting this process almost four years ago, Ted was the only builder who was willing to stick with us and work with us over the long haul to make our custom home dream a reality. We used Ted Lowe and Lowe-Bo homes for our new home in Placitas. Ted is very organized and has an excellent process to help with all the daunting selections and decisions in a new home construction project. Building a new home is complicated and sometimes very frustrating. Ted and his Construction Supervisor Darrell Reed walked us through the whole process and answered all our questions. From the initial house design meeting to the post-occupancy 45-day walk-through, Ted Lowe and his team strive to ensure the entire process meets or exceeds your expectations. As folks new to custom-home construction, my husband and I had a lot of questions. Ted patiently answered all of them and accommodated our "detail oriented" nature. He let us know what was on the calendar for the upcoming week and the role we would play in meeting those deadlines. We especially appreciated Ted and Dolores giving us a list of vendors as well as a timeline for selecting items for our new home. Each vendor was not only knowledgeable, but also very happy to work with us and Ted. Ted's cost-plus pricing transparency meant that we knew exactly where we stood when making decisions about whether or not to stay on budget. From pad prep to installing the final appliance, Ted made sure the site was clean and everyone adhered to the subdivision's covenant that the land outside our building envelope be left undisturbed. In the end, while the process is not without its hurdles, Ted's combination of weekly home site walk-throughs and documented changes via email helped us produce a home that is totally our own. We definitely would use LOWE-BO Homes again.
