BEWARE! DO NOT SPEND YOUR LAST DIME W/ THIS COMPANY! If you do not want to read because it is lengthy, I will summarize: -No pubic restrooms. -The female, black manager, has by far the worst attitude I have ever encountered in my life. She has to be dealing with some type of demons inside. - They lie about prices. - For about 150 obituaries, 300$ +, all of the pages will not be in color. -They lie about timing, and YOU will have to follow up with them. Not the other way around. -For my proofs and pick up, each day they were 4+ hours late. As well as being late for another customer that was there. This was by far the worst customer service experience of my life! My grandmother passed away. I explained that I wanted the same type of layout as my grandfather's obituary which their company had made a year or two prior, which I also provided an example. I was quoted a price. I returned a couple days later, ready to use the service. I will keep this as short and detailed as possible: My family member paid approximately 100$ less than the price I was quoted for my grandfather's obituary. They couldn't honor that price for me because she didn't have a receipt and they didn't have any copies of old receipts in their new "system." I asked if I could receive any type of discount. The manager gave me the same price that the worker quoted me days prior. So I questioned how was that a discount. She said that the original price I was quoted was what they charged if I was going through a funeral home. Since I'm not, the price is actually more. I'm thinking, why wasn't I asked that originally, rather than assuming. But okay. I was already pushing for time. I paid my down payment & left. After that day, it was simply hell from there. I would be given a time frame to come look at the proofs. 12pm. It wasn't ready until they were nearly closing. 4:30pm. So now I feel rushed, trying to look for the changes I want to be made. There was another woman in there waiting for tshirts they made for her. They told her a time, and they were late. They also weren't apologetic. And the manager left out of the front office with an attitude, rolling her eyes and talking negatively about the lady in the back with the other workers. I provided them with my corrections. I received them back the following day, later than the time I was told they would be ready, with the SAME mistakes. So, why is it late when you didn't change anything? Again, I was given a time that I could pick them up, about noon. They were late AGAIN. I also had to constantly call them to receive updates. They weren't ready until AFTER their closing time. Around 5:00pm. 5 hours later. Also, I found out when I had already paid some of my money, all of the pages in the obituary would not be in color. That would be an additional charge. So why wasn't I told that as well in the beginning, when I explained that I wanted it to be exactly like my grandfathers and you gave me a set rate. I went after closing to pick up the obituaries and the manager got up, placed the box on top of the counter and walked away with out a word. Shockingly, and the only positive out of the entire experience is that all of the obituaries were in full color. Im guessing someone in the office knew they had put me through hell and it was the least they could do. But by that time, so much negativity had happened I didn't care. I DO NOT want anyone, even my worst enemy dealing with this type of service. I was already hurt by the sudden death of my grandmother, on top of that I was crying additional tears from being so overwhelmed by the HORRIBLE, HARSH, ATROCIOUS service I was receiving. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Please. The quality, and the customer service is not worth it. And if anyone in management is reading this, get that manager ( I do not remember her name but she is a younger, dark skinned, black woman,) out of your company. I promise you she will be the downfall of your company. Rather it be you eventually shutting down, or losing potential customers due to her ways.

SS Media was entrusted to print my moms obituary which my wife designed. My wife is really good at graphic design. She designed previous obituaries as well owned and designed her own magazine. We received a sample obituary with the bleed borders uncut. When we received the final version (the day of my mothers services), the obituaries were cut very close to writing on the cover page. The cover was not centered like it was designed to be. After talking to Mike (The Owner), I asked him if he stood by his work and he said surprisingly said yes. The owner showed no empathy or accountability. I could hear his blatant annoyance over the phone. We are very disappointed in the quality of the printing and the customer service. During this difficult time, this process should have been seamless but it was added stress. We paid additional money to another printer to ensure our family had the correct obituary for our memories. We do not recommend this company. Pictured: The smaller obituary is a result of grossly over cutting and the background looks peach. The larger obituary is the sample that we received. The size is correct, but notice the background is pink, which is the correct color. Picture is blurred for the familys privacy.
