Wy wife Lois has been at Aegis Redmond for over 1-1/2 years. During the first 12 months it was quite difficult for her to adapt to not being at home. But, with the focused care exhibited by Selma Milak and her staff, Lois has now adapted and is very much at ease in the Memory Care there. I cant say enough about Selma. She is a dedicated staff manager who guides and supervises her staff in spite of the continuous changes that inevitably take place in a facility that does this type of service. A key factor in the administration of guests is that she gives "love to them that makes the big difference in how they adapt, respond and feel at home there. All the other staff and the new Manager Amanda seem to go above and beyond the call of duty. They really seem to enjoy what they do...The 2020 COVID year was tough for these care providers, however they truly delivered and kept all the guests safe. We are all grateful for that.

I give Aegis Redmond my highest recommendation. My parents are in their 80's and my mom has dementia, but my dad doesn't, so it was difficult to find a place where both would get the care they need. The entire team at Aegis Redmond has been wonderful every step of the way. My dad often says that it's as though the care team were taking care of their own mother when attending to my mom.

I decided on Aegis of Redmond upon getting several recommendations when my mom needed more help than I could give her. I was so happy with every aspect of Aegis - all of the care people, the director (Amanda) who was so friendly, warm and helpful, the spacious room that my mom stayed in, the view of the river, the food that was specially prepared for my mom as her condition changed and the numerous informative communications letting me know what was happening at each stage of her decline. I was touched at how well the nursing staff and aides knew my mom and how caring and concerned they were about her. My Mom passed on March 1st, and I was moved by the compassionate thoughts everyone expressed to me. I feel like I could not have made a better decision taking mom to Aegis of Redmond. It made her ending something I could accept and lean into knowing how supported we both were.

My family is extremely grateful for the excellent care which Aegis of Redmond has provided for the three years my 97 year mother has been there. She is very well cared for, kept as safe as possible, and is quite content; she does not seem stressed or worried. The caring and attentive staff constantly monitor her moods and needs, and are always available to sit with her if she is ever distressed or confused. She also really likes the food- and she is quite a picky eater. Further, the staff provide transportation and assistance as needed to my mothers doctors appointments (COVID restrictions permitting). Aegis provides a wide variety of activities to keep their residents occupied, and the staff consistently go out of their way to encourage family visits as long as it's safe. Importantly, the excellent care provided to the residents by the management and staff have kept the residents COVID-free. In sum, my family is most appreciative of the clean, safe, and caring environment provided by Aegis for our mother.

I worked at Aegis for over a year and have nothing but great things to say about working here. Residents here have an amazing place to live along with an outstanding nursing team and care staff. Care director Selma Malik is truly a superstar with all of the hard work she puts in and treats every resident as if it were her family. Aegis will always hold a special place in my heart and is a trustworthy great place for your loved ones to live.
