RUN!!....dont just walk away from ABBY doors... if I could give 0 stars I would have.... The service experience was extremely BAD.... 1. They didnt order any handles..then they ordered the incorrect handles... so we ordered our own and they didnt reimburse us the full amount...they paid 1/2 of what we were due. ABBY owes us $230 2. Slow to get an install date...took 3 tries before they came out....they lied and said no installer was available...the real problem, according to the owner Angie, (aka Enjing Lin), was that no one had ever ordered the handles... 3. Installation caused so much damage around door periphery, it required us to get another contractor to do full repairs...cost us $550 of which we recouped $350...ABBY owes us $200 4. Wrong glass was put in transom...cost to replace $1565...Abby paid $750...cost us another $765 5. The lock broke within 24 hrs of installation...locksmith and new lock cost us $260 ABBY STILL OWES US $1500... You get the picture here...btw, use an Amex credit card to pay, not a CITI card in case you need to do a dispute....CITI didnt go to bat for us at all...even with everything extremely well documented...and we have NEVER disputed anything before in 53 years...
A month now they've had our money, and my husband cannot even get a confirmation. Nor will calls be returned or emails. I certainly hope that these people will soon honor our purchase. 100% of our money, but no (in stock) door or even a date for delivery or install. Praying I can soon come back with a positive update. I was holding out hope as after my original review the doors arrived, looking lovely, "WRONG handles", minor damage to door frame, and now we have been waiting MONTHS for the front decorative iron piece... They recognize your number, won't answer, they say they'll call back with times and dates... Back on October 13th our part/piece was to be here. NOPE. SHAMEFUL to receive thousands of dollars and not be a more standup company. Half of your integrity is in being honest. Our door is lovely but not complete, COMPLETE the project. Future buyers insist on holding half of your money until the projects complete. Pretty upset more with the integrity of the company than even it being unfinished. UPDATE: They gave my husband the date of the 6th of February. We didn't realize until the beginning of this month that it lands on a Sunday. Hopefully this week they will finally provide us with the rest of our door front. Waiting to see.
We are thrilled with our new front door from Abby Doors! It was well worth the wait time. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and installation crew took their time installing our new door, paying attention to detail to ensure a flawless job. Would highly recommend!
We bought a $6000 dollar door that has no weather stripping and it leaks a lot of cold air. Ive left messages to Alex and Ashley in Customer Service for the last 5 weeks!! For a piece of weather stripping! For real. And I cant get a simple thing done. Its more like 2 months. Still waiting.
