BUYER BEWARE! I'll start off by saying I was really looking forward to my experience at Iron Mountain Resort. I booked one of their SxS's back in early February for a trip that I was taking to the area in early April. 5 days before my rental date I was contacted by the manager there to inform me that my SxS would not be available. However they did have another SxS that they could "upgrade" me to. So I said ok, I'll take that then. She then informed me that it would be an additional $250 (approx.) Shocked, I explained that that was not right and that she should be providing that at no additional charge, since it was Iron Mountain who was not fulfilling their half of our agreement. I also reminded her that I had already given them over $500 for a day of riding and that that kind of money was out of my budget. She essentially told me it is what it is, but that I could cancel. Disappointed, as I was looking forward to this for months, I reluctantly said, ok cancel it. She then let me know there would be a $50 cancellation charge! Shocked Again! I said, I shouldn't be charged for cancelling something that is not my fault. I again informed her that that is not how this should be handled. She responded that I could always take the upgrade. We went back and forth on this and I asked to speak to her supervisor which she informed me she was it. She then told me that she had cancelled my reservation and I would get my money minus the $50 back. IMHO, I think this is horrible way to do business and it seems like it would/should be illegal to treat a customer this way

Update - a lot has been done recently to improve. Hopefully the improvements keep going! Looking forward to this summer riding here. Really would be cool to have one large beginner groomed trail so I can take new rider. Last time we went for the most part it was fine, but the green trails did have a couple spots that were intimidating for the new rider I brought. Had a good time, but this park still has a lot left to be 5 stars. $35 per atv rider price tag, but no true bathroom! Only portapottys. No one patrolling the parking lots, so people ride the parking lot, kick up rocks, dust, right next to everyone's tow rigs. Definitely hope they staff the lots more as it was pretty much a racetrack in the parking lot. Trail maintenance was lacking, and the map isnt very accurate. Really hope they start to maintain some trails, or make one large groomed easy trails so I can take a beginner rider on. The views are great. The resort amenities were not there, but they charge resort pricing. This park seems to be going in the right direction, but they need bathrooms, more patrols in the lots and some trails, and better signage that marks main parking lots, directions to the track, and other locations on the property. Looking forward to the progress, but for now, we wont be back until its more complete, for the price tag they charge.
Got tickets to the nitro circus which was canceled and never got a refund. Ive emailed they will NOT email back. I have called countless times and no one will answer the phone or call back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE.
