This guy was out of line. The used kite he bought from my store weeks ago was sold as is and he knew that because I said it twice. He never even took it out of the bag that said 12 meter on it. He tried to return an old used kiteboarding kite weeks after he purchased it. Nobody in his right mind would ever accept a kiteboarding kite back almost 3 weeks later!!! Does anybody think you can call someone an ahole with out some words thrown back at you? Mess with the bull get the horns.

I went in and bought two used kites a 9 m and supposedly an 11 m as is deal Which I excepted did not have a chance to use either Kite until yesterday only to realize he sold me a 10 m Kite inside at 12 m bag when I asked for an 11 m. Went to exchange the kite and because it had been longer than a week and a half he refused to exchange or allow me a credit towards a more expensive Kite. I have been in business for 35 years and never have I ever written a review in a negative light but I have never ever ever been treated so unprofessional And borderline harassing rude. When he refused to honor anything and except responsibility for selling me the wrong size kite I was frustrated we then shared our frustration with each other upon which leaving he called me the N-word. I would stay far far far away from this guy and this place. Just went home filled kite to find out it has a huge hole in bladder doubt it can fixed so that is why he refused to exchange it. He knew it was defective when he said it would take him an hour if he took it back. I will let you decide if you want to do business with this place.

Ive been riding for 20 years. If youre a kiteboarder, dont go here... they have nothing to offer. Its primarily a fishing shop that used to offer kiteboarding stuff... Go to the otTHEside on Islamorada - fabulous!

Being a potential customer, calling to ask questions does not give you the right to be rude to us. We will dish it right back you no matter who you are. This person asked a question, I answered it, then this person was immediately rude to me. I think he was upset because he did not ask the question he was thinking and at the fact that I answered the question he asked, not the question he was thinking. He didn't ask about regulations until after I fed his rudeness back to him. Again, thank you for the feedback, it is very important to us. I was coming down and wanted to kite at Curry Hammock so I called to ask about kiting there. The guy who answered said "The kiting is no good there's no wind." I told him I was actually at Curry Hammock and there was wind, but I wanted to know if there were any rules or regulations I needed to followed. He said " well if there is wind then kite". Just very very rude and not what you would expect when all you are doing as a visitor is trying to be courteous about where to launch and where to ride. I ended up calling Otherside Boardsports and the lady there was just as nice as this guy was rude.
