I completed an apprenticeship at Nefba years ago and needed verification of my hours. Spoke with Charlie Libretto, an arrogant , self centered, and a liar. Was denied any assistance and was told only what he wouldn't do. Not once was an offer or statement made to see what they can do. Until I spoke with the director, at least he gave a listening ear and was willing to assist . Unfortunately individuals like Charles Libretto thinks the men and women in the apprenticeship works for him. Not realizing if it wasn't for the men and women who volunteer to be in the apprenticeship, he would have to actually do some real work!. There are better apprenticeship and people to deal with if you value your career and time to learning a trade than Charles Libretto. To all apprentices in nefba or will join nefba, keep all you hours and documents throughout your apprenticeship. Nefba will not verify any of your documents . Even worse you may have to deal with Charles Libretto waste of Nefba payroll!

Nefba is a waste of time, you get more training out of any other 18 month program. They expect you to follow their guidelines, but if they make a mistake it's on you. JUST DONT DO IT

Tried to purchase a code book. Its a shame a man cant walk in somewhere and just buy the things he needs( code book ) without making up passwords and bs. What a shame.
