Very short and boring trail for the outrageous price. The staff are incredibly rude and accused me of not paying and then became overly sarcastic because I wasnt familiar with the parks layout, saying which building? If you paid youd know which building Im talking about.

This museum and hiking area is very worth the trip! The museum is child-friendly, while being very educational and interesting to adults. It features unique artistic renditions and creatively formed exhibits. There are some live animals featured inside and outside nearby on one of the nature trails. No butterflies were featured when we visited on March 4th, 2020, so you might call ahead if that's your interest. The experience is probably best when there is no rain, but we walked to the animal enclosures anyway!
We're honored to be your favorite place to hike! Thank you for your support--it means a lot. Members like you help continue our mission to bring nature and people together.

This is my family's favorite place to hike in DFW. Lots of fun for the kiddos and beautiful scenery for the adults. Always fun to check out the rescued animals they refuge. Totally worth the membership fee!
Came here to complete my community service, for the second time. First experience was warm and welcome, greeted by two elderly gentlemen then was put into manual labor (which Im not complaining). Second time around was completely different. Was told to looking for a young man, could not find said person and asked a gardener for help. She told me to wait in the circle as she had explained that she notified the young man that I was there waiting for him. As Im waiting not even a minute goes by and the lady in the front that attended to me when I first got there starts shouting at me that Im not suppose to be in the circle if Im doing community service. As I walked back in I find this lady talking rudely about me to another lady saying hes just sitting there doing nothing while adding other comments. she then proceeds to tell me rudely that Im not suppose to be there, etc and that the young man has already left, she asked what I was still doing here. (Like I knew the guy left). I ended up leaving, wont do community service for people acting this way. Basically she went about it all rude, started hollering and being rude without even knowing the premise of why I was sitting in the circle. Theres ways to go about things and finding out the who/why/what/where and when but starting to holler across a patio and assuming things is just wrong. Just ask politely! Per example; Hey sir, why are you in the patio, did you not find the young man? Would have been a more professional way to go about things! Instead of screaming across the patio in front of paying customers YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE SITTING IN THE CIRCLE WHEN YOU'RE HERE TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE, GET BACK INSIDE NOW!
