PRO Nice little park with a nice dog play area and 50amp hookups CON Waaaay too expensive to command $125 per night for the "premium sites". Also it should be closer to the beach. And you can't actually see the river unless you walk over to it.

Thank you for your time in writing a review of our park. We have been here for 46 years and the valley has grown up around us a bit. The primary reason that we stagger our check-out and check-in times is to prevent 2-way traffic whenever possible. As for the quiet, beauty and hummingbirds hands far larger than ours were at play in providing those. Safe travels.

There arent many option for RVs close to this area, however there is this little gem. When we turned in off Carmel Valley road the path to the park appeared wide and two lanes, however I noted a couple sharp turns ahead so disconnected the TOAD from our 45 foot coach. My wife went ahead in the car to scout it out and was cautious about my maneuvering in. As I turned the corner, sure enough, a one lane stretch with a full size pickup coming my way. Further down the road opens to a lane and a half allowing me to let another oncoming car to pass. A number of the trees could use a trim as I heard them touching the covers of the rooftop HVAC units. Arriving at the park, descending into the parkmade it. I was able to circle through the park to position the rig to back into the space. The reason for this detail is to say if your not confident and an able driver, dont complain, go elsewhere. If you know what your doing youll be rewarded. Rewarded with what? Beautiful, quiet, convenient location, private sites separated by hedges, flowers and humming birds. The staff is great and always accommodating.

Our website, which you used for booking, provides plenty of photos and video, including details on our location and cancellation policy, to help guests make an educated decision. If I could give no stars I would. The park is very secluded in thick trees in a gully near the river but no access. I am very claustrophobic so when I saw how thick the forest was , including no street light s in campground, I knew it wouldn't work fo me. I have a medically diagnosed condition and they would not work with me for any kind of an refund, and I'm talking over $300. On principle alone I would not reccomend this park. Besides the fact that its buildings are very old and u appealing. The sites were nice. Husband and wife team desperate in this business as more empty sites than filled. Not a great way to run a business. Thank you too for your response. However you still have no empathy for medical conditions.
