Wow, that's a pretty unfair review. Holds do come loose, this is common. Our guys constantly update the routes and clean holds, when a hold spins you simply tell a member of staff and they will tighten it. The use of 9.1mm ropes is absolutely not recommended for indoor climbing walls as single ropes are too thin. Doubled 9mm or 10.5/11mm ropes are the standard. The centre has operated for 18 years on the timetable which suits most people. Sorry you feel the way you do.

holds in the climbing wall are not bolted in properly and spin. took a massive fall because of this. almost hit the ground. Called in one of the staff members when this happened. the dude did not even apologise and blamed the use of a too thin rope. we were using a 9.1 on gri-gri so totally random. Also they shut at 6pm??? how about working people who want to climb?

Cant rate this place highly enough. Had an ice climbing session, our instructor Hugh was very pleasant and friendly. Didn't use the cafe, but looked nice and very clean.
