I should have fired this firm along with the attorney when while in civil court my own lawyer did not defend me to state that the opposing side was accusing my sister of calling her. I am an only child. Her sister called me impersonating an attorney. When I cited this was a crime prior to hiring this firm, I did not realize the attorneys from both sides knew each other since grade school. I was told at the conclusion of this case to call the attorney if the other side ever broke the mutual stay away order. However, when the order was broken and I notified counsel in February, he wanted a retainer to make a phone call or send an email. At that time, I was being approved to purchase my first home and didn't want to make another large purchase.I am now being harassed and threatened on both of my jobs. I am a fellow licensed professional. I've had to file a disciplinary complaint against opposing counsel that is being screened by the Office of the Disciplinary Counsel. Sorry, I don't think a phone call or email is worth another 1500.
