FPB is a completely useless company with terrible services and they even outsource the tech support line to even bigger morons. FPB is terribly run and the attitude especially with the techs and supervisors is horrendous. I say fire them all. Overall the Frankfort Mayor is responsible for appointing the General Manager so I hold the Mayor at fault as well. AVOID this overpriced terrible company at all cost! ALSO, beware of the fake 5-star reviews where the person says "I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've had etc." Ask yourself what person reads through the reviews and comments on these reviews as part of their review. Answer: a Paid/Planted Review.
I have to admit when I'm wrong. I gave FPB a bad review a few years ago when I was a new customer. I have since changed my mind because of the people that work for FPB. On Thanksgiving day my cable & Internet went out. I called the hotline and within 10 minutes someone from the Plant board was knocking on my door. A young man explained there was an issue on the utility pole behind my house. Within 30 minutes two gentlemen had me fixed up. I spoke with both of them, and thanked them for what they were doing. Working on Thanksgiving Day with a great attitude and excellent service. Thank you FPB for being there, and having really good people working on your team. Frankfort, KY resident Mark Alcorn
Had great tech, Chad Brewer, work on cable box. He took time to work with us. Knowledgeable and courteous. Great employee. Had tech before him that was good too. Can't remember his name.
I found the website very difficult and non-user-friendly. However when I called customer service and was able to get through, they were very polite and helpful. I think they should offer a phone service to sign up for people like me that are not technology savvy!
