Called at 2:30p on a Friday to place a takeout order… there was some confusion on the line, I couldn’t tell if they were talking to me or another customer… someone seemed to say “can you please come in to order ma’am” then “please hold ma’am” (I’m not a ma’am nor is my voice often confused for a lady’s) … then was on hold for 4 minutes before I gave up. Called back several times over the next 5 minutes and went straight to voicemail each time. If you don’t do takeout orders, please remove that from your Google profile.
Service was terrible. Server said she had to bartend as well. Clearly told our group that our time was winding down to place our order and that other people would be waiting on the table. And it was not even busy. Food was not that great.

Food and drinks were great. It was kind of busy so the service reflected however the entire staff was nice. There was live music when we went which was a pleasant surprise.

My FIRST visit will NOT be my last. I'm thankful and BLESSED my first visit was with great company (my childhood friend) and the treat was the LIVE band. I love Gerald Richardson but he DEFINITELY knows how to pick great musicians. Tahj Danny and Stebo were a great match. Food as well as service was VIP & MY friend Brock made THIS experience one that I'll NEVER forget. Lisa

I try my hardest to support these black owned restaurants but every time their silly antics drive me away. My party sat there for over 25 mins into their reservation and they refused to seat them because one person was not there. The hostess was timid and lacked knowledge and pushed us to the side. The manager/part owner was not very accommodating and gave very snarky responses towards us. This completely destroyed my appetite after dealing with them both. The service absolutely terrible! The server took 15 mins after we sat to even come over to our table to acknowledge us. She never once checked on our table to see if we needed anything, never cleared the table of dirty plates. I had to beckon for the servers attention for EVERYTHING, which is quite rude and annoying to do in a restaurant. The entire table ordered steaks and one in particular was incredibly burnt however we didn’t send it back, we gave them “grace” because were supposed to still support black owned businesses when they produce piss poor performance.
