To say I am disgusted that this place serves foie gras is a major understatement. I sure hope you remove it from your menu immediately. Totally unacceptable.
So disappointed. Underwhelming food and the service was terrible. When you dine at a Michelin starred restaurant there’s a level of professionalism and experience you expect from the waitstaff. We were unceremoniously seated, and the food began arriving before anyone had asked if we wanted a drink. 4 plates came before I finally had to ask for a drink. Several members of the staff did not speak English, which in and of itself is fine, but when I ask you what the potato dish is called and you can’t tell me then there’s a problem. The food was meh. I can’t believe the highlight was prime rib. If I want prime rib I’ll go to the local VFW. It was literally inedible. So disappointing.
I didn't really like the seating arrangements and the staff was also having a bit of a hard time getting to certain tables. The potato chips and caviar was so good I think about it all the time lol. The rest of the food was fine, we both got fish and it was well seasoned and tasty but nothing spectacular. Extensive wine list which I found to be well priced.
You get what you pay for - a top notch dining experience and an attentive staff which pays attention to your every need. Worth the hassle to dine at this Michelin starred restaurant!
Went for my best friends BIG birthday with my husband and hers as well. Made it know many times including having made 3 calls to the restaurant to make sure things went seamless. It didn't. I called during the times they said to, and spoke with someone who took my information and said I would receive a call back and never did. I had my husband call and he received a call back regarding the wines (unavailable), but 2 options were offered as a substitute. He also called and clarified the complimentary small bites and champagne offered in the salon before dinner. Another disappointment. There was no champagne, nor was it offered. Only a small bite that was dry and we then were ushered into dinner to our table. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. We didn't anticipate this or we would have gone somewhere else fprior. I was not happy, especially, after arriving early and calling to verify what would be offered before dinner. The sommelier was informed we had a couple of bottles set aside for us, wherein he then told us they were the only bottles and no more of those bottles could be ordered. Definitely not what the sommelier on the phone said. He said they had plenty of both we had set aside. Ordered a 3rd bottle from the list and it was not good, this after a couple from the list we tried to order were not available. The sommelier said they would update their listing soon. The explanations of the menu items were very poorly done and the kind gentleman tried his best to remember what was brought out. We relied on listening to other tables. Service was not great and I almost had a course dumped in my lap as the server reached over my husband to drop it in front of me. The food was very underwhelming to say the least. I really enjoy the food at Kinship, so not sure why this is so lackluster. Overall, $2000 with tip for a party of 4 for a birthday that was not even acknowledged and left me upset with how everything went overall. And, if you try and email the restaurant, the emails will bounce back.
