Very knowledgeable instructor. His teaching style really makes sure you are prepared and comfortable with the kite on land before taking it to the water. End result is a quicker transition from body dragging to standing up on the board.

First of all TAKE A LESSON if youre going to try the sport. The power of the kite is no joke! I water ski and downhill and thought I was well prepared for kite surfing. I WAS WRONG! You absolutely need a pro to show you what to do and more importantly what NOT to do so youre safe and enjoy the experience! Kurt is awesome!!!! Almost 20 years in the business! Was on time! Picked the right place and time to get the best wind! (No wind=no kiting) Brought different gear/kites so we could use whats appropriate for the conditions. Knows his stuff down cold and explains it in a way you can totally understand it! Doest try to waste time to jack up the bill. Took a bunch of videos of me training. The guy is a blast to hang with. We had such a great time in the water we ended up going to lunch together! Thank You and see you in January buddy!!!!

Great explanations and easy to follow his instructions. This was my second paid lesson and I wish both were with Kurt. Anyone at any level can take kite changing habits away from every lesson.
