Came here for my birthday and ive never been so disapointed. I think we saw about 10 different animals at my visit here. Many empty enclosures and barely anything to see. I understand that the animals arent always out but there wasnt actually any animals in most of the enclosures we walked past. The zoo looked tired, and enclosures looked neglected. We walked around in an hour and a half included stoppping for lunch. When we left I asked a member of staff why they barely had any animals, to which she replied, "half of them died during covid" Why was this? Why did animals die? And why wasnt this reflected in the entry price? 25 each for a Zoo with half its animals left? Completely mis advertised and very cheeky to expect people to still pay a lot of money when they have half the animals. I saw more lego dinosaurs than real animals. Complete waste of time and money.
Lovely zoo experience. The animal environments seemed as big as they could manage. Lots of enrichment for the animals. Staff were friendly and helpful!
Visited last week to what I can only explain as a tired run down place with a few animals. Been before when it has been thriving with people and my kids have wanted to stay, now it's very bland with not much interaction and nothing to really keep you there. My 8 year old complained half way round thst he was bored, which sums up our visit. I'd of rather spent less money going to our local wildlife park than wasting money here. Won't be returning in a hurry.
