This is an established bridal shop that has been around for decades. Unfortunately, the styles of dresses and the set-up of the store is just not for me. I am not into puffy, lacy wedding dresses, and most of the materials of the other, more clean styles used cheaper fabrics that weren't as comfortable. My stylist was very sweet but didn't necessarily clip the dresses to my body as well as other wedding dress stylists I have interacted with did. We were placed in the front room that had glass cases filled with tiaras and veils, and while I was trying to an intimate experience with my dresses and my family, people would wander through the room. Other bridal shops give you more privacy and intimacy to feel comfortable. I know plenty of people who have visited this bridal shop and enjoyed their experience, unfortunately it just wasn't a match for my personality or fashion sense.

!BRIDES BEWARE! The rumors are true about this place. They are known for ordering dresses too big which then forces you to spend another $1000 in alterations. Brides to be have enough stress and things to worry about; don't shop here and add undue stress especially with something as important as your dress.

MIOSA saved my wedding day ! I grew out of a wedding dress I purchased in March for my August wedding. I had minimal expectations but wanted to try a bridal salon experience one last time before giving up so I strolled into MIOSA on a Sunday with my wedding 8 days away. My appointment was at 12pm and my bridal experience was led by Daniel. He was so gracious and helpful and even though I was not sure Id find a dress each dress that he pulled for me gave me more hope that I might get lucky! After an hour or so of trying dresses I found the one and when I decided to move forward - no more than 20 minutes later I was getting fitted for my first round of alterations by Sabrina, the warmest, eloquent and most efficient and skilled seamstress Id ever worked with. Today is Wednesday and Im picking up my dress and taking it home. The customer service all around has been top notch at MIOSA and I likely set this place on fire with the quick turnaround. If you are the type of bride who seeks support from all angles and supremely skilled artisans this is the place for you. Thank you for helping me pull off this short turnaround for my wedding. I love my dress and my experience with MIOSA!

My daughter and guests had an excellent appointment with Chelsea at the downtown location. She was extremely professional: measured my daughter at the beginning, asked pertinent questions in order to zero in on what my daughter wanted, and most importantly, Chelsea was enthusiastic. Chelsea asked specific questions in order to eliminate certain gowns quickly as well as contribute more for viewing. Ultimately it was down to 2 dresses in the fitting room with my daughter. Chelsea enhanced each one and allowed my daughter to make the ultimate choice. She said "yes to the dress"! Highly recommend Chelsea and the inventory at Miosa Bride on J Street, Sacramento.

My recent experience at Miosa bride was not how I expected this experience to go. I absolutely loved the dress. However, I did not feel that the customer service provided was satisfactory. It seemed very impersonal, and as if we were an inconvenience. This is a one time experience for a future bride and the service did not live up to my expectations. Something as simple as having to ask for waters. Because of the service, I have decided to buy the dress elsewhere. The dress was also cheaper and included in house alterations with the price.
