The service was outstanding however, The food simply didn't meet our expectations. We found the flavors blah and underwhelming. We both decided of the stuffed shrimp as our main. The stuffing was blah and not that tasty. Rather disappointed.

The clam chowder was delicious. We ordered crab cake, lobster pie..... absolutely delicious. My new favorite place to eat when we visit. Our waiter was the best. Sorry, I forgot his name. If you go.... you'll know when you meet him. My tummy thanks you

I got the fish and chips. Theyre unique - I would say they are more similar to American-Chinese chicken fingers with fish - the batter is almost identical - and that's not necessarily a bad thing. The upside is that theyre light, fluffy, and have a slight outer crunch. The downside is that they are *quite* greasy - from just picking up individual pieces of fish, I could easily see the grease squeezing out from the batter. I actually washed my face after eating them because I felt, well, greasy. The fish itself is fresh and moist but unexpectedly doesn't taste like much - Id say the fries were more flavorful. Im not sure if they don't salt or season the fish, but it was incredibly bland. The batter stayed firmly on the fish, a good signbut unfortunately the batter was so thick, there were parts that were far more batter than fish. Granted the batter was nice - but Im not buying it for the batter. Ive had far worse fish and chips so it feels weird giving this 2 stars - it wasnt bad - but it also wasnt really fish and chips. It was more akin to eating fried dough than it was eating fish - and while it was decent fried dough, for a renown fish restaurant, I was expecting a lot more on the fish front.
