We know how stressful moving can be and we truly apologize that your move was not more organized. We did have many staff changes this past year with multiple team members being promoted to different communities. We regret that the communication in regards to this transition and your move in was not made more clear. In regards to pet and security issues, we are always looking at different ways to improve in these areas. We will continue to monitor pet issues, enforce pet policies, and work to implement additional procedures that could help limit these situations. We are also in close contact with local officers and have implemented additional security measures within the community. However, we will always be looking for ways to improve in this area as well. My experience with Nordhaus did not start out very good. We spoke with Hope in the leasing office to begin with, she did not tell us that she would be moving properties, and all of our communication with the building/move basically went with her. At the time of move in, multiple people in the leasing office came up to us in the garage asking us what we were doing. We told them that we were moving in and that we had worked everything out with Hope, however, she never re-laid the message to them, thus making moving into this new apartment less than ideal for a new resident. The next issue we had was with the automatic payment system they use, nothing seemed to ever be up to date with our current balance, and even after moving out of the apartment a month ago they are telling us we have back concessions. I understand this, but a little heads up would have been nice when we thought everything was cleared up prior to us moving out. The communication between the leasing office and the resident should be better. Another thing, the people in the building who have animals are not very respectful. You will often times find urine/poop in the halls, elevator, and parking garage, along with dogs barking day and night. They also had issues with people breaking into cars in the parking garage as well as the first and 2nd floor bike storage. The one positive thing I will say about our experience at Nordhaus was the cleaning staff, they are nice, friendly, and always would offer a smile.

The building is amazing! Views are awesome! Maintenance and cleaning crew are very good. Leasing is very polite. The bad thing is management doesn't manage the building or people well. No control over the rules of the building, doesn't require fixing or cleaning things that need fixing. Their motto was "you don't have to own to make it feel like home", I wouldn't have my home run like this. We have been here since the beginning, October 2017, have gone through 3 managers, hoped one would manage better but still disappointed. Signed a 6 mo lease giving them one more chance. Like I mentioned most things are great, just depends on how you want and expect your "home" to be run.
