Me and my friend were taking pictures of the murals in the back lot, when this employee approached us asking if we needed help. We said we were taking pics and they responded with “just checking to see you aren’t one of our friends who walks up and down the streets here.” We were stunned by that comment. What’s the point of public art if you’re questioned for simply experiencing it? Also we were both women of color, as was the employee. Left a bad impression and no desire to actually go inside.

Modern and small museum. We spend 20 minutes in there. The gift shop is not as good as I supposed and on workday there is no performance art. General not enough information or signage.🥲And the ticket price is high. 😢

This Museum is great! My husband and I loved looking at all the cool Latinx art and we really wish Indianapolis had a museum like this! We loved that we were able to use our Indianapolis based Museum based membership to gain access to this one for free!
