Now twice I have tried this pharmacy and nothing has changed. They could not verify my new insurance and said I could try another pharmacy. I did and they had no trouble verifying . In the process of all this I missed 4 doses of my medication because of them not knowing how to do there job! I was hung up on twice left on hold and they never did what they said they would do. And when I called there attention to this i received an apology but now I was informed I was to just use another pharmacy. Guess Ramon was having a bad day and said I was disrespectful to there employees . I was not but I was very disrespected . Not only that but I left 2 lights in there care for there “safe place room next door” but when they laid off their employee that was running it I never got my lights back. Of course Ramon knows nothing of this. So basically I was stolen from as well! I don’t recommend them.
We can not do compounds of the drugs that are commercially available (-10%) strengths and that too for Class CIII-CV medications. I truly apologize for not able to meet your expectations on this request.

I am a physician who helps patients discontinue benzodiazepines. Pharmacy will not assist with simple benzodiazepine tapers the rationale given by Ramon was "we don't do compounded tapers if the reductions are close to prescribed amounts". this doesn't really make sense from any clinical perspective since I was doing 10% reduction which is normal for a taper. I suspect stigma concerning patients with substance abuse problems even when they want to taper. I would not recommend this pharmacy
Thank you for your kind words Melinda. We look forward to serve you again.

Sean is amazing. He goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Oaklawn was managing just 1 of my meds, but have transferred all of my medications over. Service is very personalized. Thank you Sean and Oaklawn !
We strive to make each experience 5 star. Unfortunately we did not hit the mark with you George. We hope we can earn your business in the future.

I’ve been told twice they don’t have two very common meds in stock and that they have them only when they need them. That doesn’t make any sense! I went to another pharmacy and found out the Dr wrote the quantity once only instead of twice so they had to call to verify and a few minutes later I had my meds.the other time they told me the same excuse I again went to another pharmacy and this time the Drs assistant wrote my birthday wrong and again after a quick call I had my meds . I can only assume that Pride/Oak Lawn pharmacy didn’t want and didn’t care twice to do that little extra to make sure the customer was taken care of. Making up a lie about not having those two very common meds in stock and getting rid of you is their easy way out! Lazy!!!!
