Disappointed in flower garden at intersection. Terrible upkeep for a tourist area. Go to Murphy for beautiful seasonal flowers all over town. So drab. Would look better with noyhing. We cam six and a half hours here to see that

A little muddy after the snow began to melt. Be sure you are wearing appropriate shoes for hiking, this trail can get slippery in some spots.

We had previously rented from Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins with pleasing results but this time the cabin wasnt clean. We arrived at 2: 45 and I called the owner to let her know we were there for check-in 3:00 and no answer. So my husband called from his phone at 3:02 and she answered said she was having lunch didn't show up til almost 3:20.The cabin phone failed to work,I called her,was told to unplug it,plug it back in, rat droppings under the table,stove oven was dirty, steps outside wobbly, we left at 7:42pm,requested refund.Very disappointed to say the least.Pooor management.
