TL;DR - Great denim, excellent prices, poor customer service. I've ordered from Brave Star three times. The first time was a few years ago, and the customer service was excellent - prompt, friendly, efficient, and the jeans arrived almost next day (to Point Roberts, an obscure exclave separated from US mainland and only accessible via boat or through Canada). That experience has however not been repeated in subsequent two orders. Their website is pretty dismal, can't filter for sizes, never any availability of sizes, and their customer service isn't great - I've probably sent about ten emails inquiring about stock, and most recently an order I placed, and never heard any response. Phone is never answered either in my experience (Instagram account is active but they didn't reply to my messages on that either). If you order an item it will arrive but good luck getting any customer service - I imagine returns would be a *nightmare*. If you are lucky enough to find a style and size that you're looking for without having to contact customer service you're in for a treat - the denim is great quality, I love the minimalist branding, great staple item at a crazy low price. Would suggest redoing website to make it more user friendly and improving customer service.

Products are ok, but the reason I won't shop with this company again is strictly due to customer service and slow to nonexistent response time (delivery and emails). Seems like once they have your money, you are not a high priority.

I don't know if these were just unfortunate cases or if they updated their standards for service but I have nothing but good things to say. Ordered my pants on Saturday, was given a tracking number on Tuesday and they arrived on Friday. Exactly what I expected and the pants fit even better than expected. Definitely will be supporting this company.

Hello, I am the proud owner of no less than 7 pairs of Brave Star jeans and 3 Brave Star jackets that I bought in the last 3 years directly from Brave Star web page. So, one might say, I have a certain degree of experience with Brave Star products. Now, let me say few words about Brave Star company, team and, of course, Brave Star products. First, their jeans (and jackets) are the best offer from the price point of view. There is no company, in jeans area, to offer such a quality at a so low price! The price-quality ratio is unbelievable! I bought the Sumo 3 in 25oz jeans at $178 !!! You can't get such quality at that price anywhere else. The quality itself is astonishing! The denim they use is one of the highest grade possible. Cone Mills, Japanese, no matter, all is just best denim possible. The team knows how to choose the best denim in the best weight possible and construct a pair of jeans that really worth wearing for years and years. The construction, the fit, the sewing, the hardware is just the way it must be. All American quality! Just the "Old school" jeans making. Simple, no thrills, just the way a jeans must be. Perfect rivets, nice brass buttons, good poli core strings for sewing, a nice thick leather back patch and above of all, the sign of quality that we all denim freaks are looking for: MADE in USA! A true Californian product. As a Romanian jeans adviser and Senior Officer for the Romanian Denim Journal for the last 34 years, I saw many many pairs of jeans and jacket. My 30 pieces personal collection proves it. I have seen and wear, old school Levis jeans, the Lee, Jordans, Brooklyn, Vaqueros and many Italian, Japanese and Indonesian jeans I could put my hands on, but, believe me, Brave Star is by far a full grade A+ product. A good team, good products at unbelievable price and with great attention and serviceability to the customer. Its a real pleasure to deal with them. There are many good things to be said about Brave Star but I believe the best words come from the product itself. I suggest to you, all guys and men who know to appreciate a good blue jeans (and jackets too) to buy a pair and test it for one year. Just wear it and let me know what you think in one year time. I am sure you will not be disappointed! Just try one pair. I am sure that you will come back for another pair. This is what I have done. And believe me, I know few things about jeans after a life time in this branch. Brave Star really worth the money, and more of that... Thank you Brave Star for making one of the jeans I love most. Must say that this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Hands down. It has been over 3 months since I made the order and to date the company has not responded to my emails. The order was placed well before the Covid-19 lockdown and they promised a 5-7 day processing time back in January. Howver, the company is eagerly charging and sending out overproced denim masks. My brother ordered 2 and got hem within a week. Maybe customer service should be reminded of a basic business practice "FIFO". First in first out!!! Save time and effort buy directly from a Japanese on line vendor,. Don't get fooled by the fake "Made in America" hype.
