Eric, I overheard the entire conversation and so did the repair shop. Our technician was very patient and calm and tried to explain our policy to you but it didn't seem like you were very understanding or willing to listen. Let me get this straight, you bought a horn from another dealer out of state, and you wanted us to drop everything and work on your horn. If we were to do so, then all of the local schools that we do repairs for and customers that have recently bought or rented an instrument from us would have to wait. Not fair to them is it? Then, on top of that, the dealer that you bought the horn from was willing to reimburse us only up to $50 and that we would have to bill them for the repairs. For us to take out all valves, clean, find the problem and fix it, put them back in, and reassemble all the linkage etc.... is a 2 hour job minimum so we would be reimbursed only for a fraction of the actual repair cost. Don't get me wrong, we appreciate your past business, but we simply do not have the manpower to take in all repairs at the moment so we have to prioritize based on a number of different factors.

Took my horn to Wichita Band today for a minor repair. Individual helping me was rude and angry. Implied that I wasn't a customer due to my needing warranty work on a horn from another dealership done. As if he wasn't get paid. I've been a customer for 6 years. Likely won't be in the future. The other instrument store in town gladly took the business.

It's really nice. Felt kinda small but I'm a pretty anxious guy. Staff was really nice and didn't try to press me into buying another I didn't need, want kinda every PSR but I'll go back for my string and the stuff on layaway.
