We exert a lot of effort to have careful dialog with all our clients to make sure we are producing their projects exactly to the specifications of their vision. We attempt to answer all inquiries respectfully and spend a significant amount of time on education for people making prints for the first time. We also strive to be responsive and offer support and resources to clients we cannot help, offering other local options that may be helpful. As many of our reviews suggest, we really try to provide excellent value and customer service. Hello Bob Smith/John Rambo/Val H, we at BPL are sorry that you feel this way. We tried to work with you through the month long email process to produce your 12, 2 sided sweatshirt order. That process involved 30 emails, several quotes, 16 file submissions, and a bit of graphic editing. We charged you $0 for this, and were doing our best to help you get us your files and confirm the order. We were in no way being 'nasty' but did imply that this lengthy process was a bit more difficult than a 1 color front, 1 color back, sample print order often is with other clients. We continue to feel that our pricing is fair for a sample quantity print job involving the creation of 2 film positives/2 screens and 2 placement prints per garment. It seems that, though we charged you nothing, you are intent on writing as many inaccurate negative reviews of Bushwick Print Lab, which seems quite excessive, since it was you who has wasted our time.

Watch out for this company. Many people complained about how bad they are treating their customers. Its too expansive, its too rude its too arrogant etc.. My experience was little painful because I already knew it by reading reviews of other people what to expect. This guy Ray obviously hates his job, he is whining about spending lots of effort and not getting enough returns from the customer. I asked him to print 12 sweatshirts then he said its $200 . I knew its too high but despite all that I agreed on that ridiculous price. Then he asked me to send him my artwork so I did then he said if I have anything better I said OK let me see what I can do. I created a few good resolution files and sent it to him and shortly after he wrote back to me complaining that he is severely confused because I sent him too many files and his effort not getting him any returns or profit. I told him if you don't make any profit this is not my fault. Maybe he is in wrong business but he sounded like he is hating his job and whining about doing his job. I told Ray that this is not my job and this is your job. If he thinks he is working too much and making very little money, then it's his problem not the customers. Customers does not want to hear complains from employees how much work they have to do and not getting enough returns from them. This is very rude and unprofessional . You don't tell this to your clients. This is ridiculous because I am paying him money and whatever gets involved in doing those prints is really none of my business. That is companies job and worries not the customers. To make long story short I told him that I don't feel comfortable doing business with someone who is complaining doing his job and helping his customers. I would not recommend this company to anybody unless if you want to get ripped off and be blamed because they are helping you. I highly recommend Bushwick Print Lab to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and friendly place to reclaim, coat, and expose screens of any size. The staff is flexible, friendly, and helpful. Although I have printing experience from school, I still struggle and make mistakes each time I make my screens. Despite having so much to do, Bushwick Print Lab staff is there to help you troubleshoot and advise without making you feel incompetent. They have very very cheap prices for DIY prep, and I wouldn't be able to afford to keep printing if it wasn't for them! Truly a special place and highly recommended!
