Ive been visiting Bicester for at least 5/6 years, unfortunately my last two visits, March and June this year were very disappointing. Brands such as Dior, Gucci and others are operating a digital queueing system. Which frequently they close the system as there is too much people in the digital queue. Some encourage you to hang around near the sign for it to reopen, and as you can imagine theres loads of people just hanging around. When its your turn you receive a text and you have 10mins to rush from where you are to go into the store. All in all a poor customer experience, please rethink and fix.
We stopped off here on the way down to a holiday in Hampshire. Not the best time to be here as it was Sunday and very crowded. There's lots of free parking space and marshals on hand to help with directions. The village is beautifully laid out with boutiques in neat little houses, lovely floral displays, quirky artworks, food kiosks, outdoor seating and a children's adventure playground. It's very upmarket, all the top designer outlets are here offering mainly high end fashion, sportswear, accessories, jewellery and beauty products, and a few homewares as well. Some beautiful items but too pricey for me even with discounts. Even the toilets are classy - seven washrooms with toilets around the village so at least there were no queues - and they were very clean. Had some lunch at Berenjak, a kiosk selling Persian food, very quick service and the rice bowl with spicy chicken kababs was very good. There's enough shopping here to fill a whole day, but best to come on a weekday when it's quieter and be prepared to spend a lot of money!
Waste of time! Got there at 12 Gucci has an online QR code that had already closed! - just told to keep checking if they will open it up again. Moncler was out of literally every size in adults and childrens. I couldnt get in any shops and the shops I could get into had hardly anything worth looking at. Never again Id rather pay full price and be treated with a bit of respect and dignity when I walk in a shop! Just full of Primark people with Louis Vuitton egos
