I've been going here for 13 years and every time I go I say it will be the last time. They have a very small selection of glasses and the people in the front are always rude. Edit: To the person who responded, no doubt the "Office Manager", I came in more than an hour before your posted closing time so maybe you forgot that you closed an hour early that day for an office meeting and neglected to post your revised closing time. As I said in my review, I've experienced rudeness from your front office for 13 years, this was just the last time.

Was told glasses would be delivered in about 7 business days. It's been over 30 and still waiting.
I am from out of town and lost my contact lenses with over a week of vacation left. I am pretty much blind without them. Patty answered when I called and immediately took care of everything to get me a sample pair to wear for the rest of my trip. When I got there to pick them up, she had labeled them for me, gave me somewhere to wash my hands and put them in, and sent me on my way with a bottle of solution and a case for them. She is a lifesaver! We had called 3 other places that refused to help us. Patty and Vision Center totally saved our vacation.
So happy to hear that you appreciate the text reminder we sent you to notify you that you were due for your annual exam. We know that sometimes its hard to remember when your last exam occurred and when you need to contact us to schedule a new yearly wellness eye exam.

We are very sorry you felt rushed and do apologize for that. We do strive to keep the doctor on schedule as much as possible. Most people do not like to wait long periods of time to see the dr if they have an appointment. If someone comes in a bit late, then goes to the restroom after that, we occasionally ask them to fill out the paperwork after seeing the doctor as opposed to prior in order to minimize the time delaying the doctor to see you. If a delay occurs, all the patients for the remainder of the day gets pushed back and are seen late. If you wish to leisurely fill out your paperwork, we welcome you to go to our website and print out the forms prior to coming in. That way you can bring them in already completed.

I have been coming here for years, probably more than 10 years and the front desk office used to be horrible. They have changed out some staff and it seems to be a little nicer. However, they were always rushing. I had gone to the bathroom and when I returned they were ready to rush me in to get my eyes tested. I hadnt even started on the paperwork. By the time they were done testing my eyes and I had grabbed a clipboard to start filling out, the doctor was ready to see me. She said I could fill out the paperwork later. When she was done with me she released me into the waiting room and I started to fill out the paperwork. There was a lot of scuffle at the desk because apparently I grabbed the wrong clipboard of papers because I was getting rushed all over and they were irritated that I chose a clipboard to fill out and it was a big conversation that seemed very rude. I asked them if they needed me to fill out a different Form, but they just dismissed me said I was fine. Its strange to be someplace where they talk about you rudely but then dont acknowledge how to fix it. I really love coming here because all of my retinal scans are here but I just feel like they really dont care if you are a repeat customer. The repeat retinal scans are important to me because I have diabetes and I want to have those visual cues to look back on any disease progress. This time I arrived early and they rushed me right in to get my eyes tested. I like that theyre efficient, but to the point of being rushed isnt a good thing. Im not even sure that they know how to be sympathetic. I explain to them that their peripheral test machine was very dusty and hard to see and she agreed and just kept going. Eyesight is something that can be very sensitive and when you feel like your eyesight is getting bad, you need time for someone to be a little sensitive and walk you through the process. This time I felt very very rushed and very much alone in the process. There was no sensitivity and even Dr. Umemoto who is usually very sympathetic was not very reachable. My I prescription changed significantly on the left eye in this visit and I was concerned. She showed little care and said that sometimes it happens. I was very surprised by this visit and almost wanted to say something, but they were so busy rushing me around that it didnt feel like anyone cared what my thoughts were anyways. I dont usually get my frames or lenses filled here because they do have very little choice and theyre very expensive. Usually, they happily just give you a prescription so you can go elsewhere. But this time Dr. Umemoto made a point of telling me that she knew I wasnt getting my glasses there and that my glasses look like they didnt fit me and that they needed adjustment. It felt very judge mental and I was surprised by her behavior. Maybe shes just tired of doing this job or it was an off day for her. Its been easy to keep coming back because they call you and remind you that its time to come visit and all of your records are in one place. But I might just need to go somewhere else. Sorry to say it folks but After 10 years, I must admit I cant recommend this place.
