My interactions with everyone have been pleasant enough and the facility is really nice and clean. But, when I was sold Invisalign treatment with them I was told the premim difference between them and cheaper alternatives was that I would be seen by a dentist. Well, that hasn't been my experience. 16 weeks into treatment and I have only seen the dentist when they told me I needed it and once when I complained about the buttons; they were jagged and sharp, and not previously discussed. When I threatened to cancel the treatment, the dentist was very kind and offered an alternative. No dentist checked the tech's work for glueing them into place, which took several uncomfortable tries. I have been told that a dentist reviews my scans, but I do not see how that is any different than the competition that they told me was what made them different and worth the added expense.

Paid for a fluoride treatment never received. When I contacted them they said Hygienist said that they applied it. When I asked how they applied it they said that they apply it with small brush which was never done. When talking to the office manager she tried to defend it to me. I can put up with alot but lying to me doesnt cut it. Be leery of what you paid for in this place you may not receive what you paid for. Sam said he did. -Swish Domain text

I have been a patient at Swish for about 3 years now and have consistently had good experiences. However, I recently decided to try the Boost Whitening, and it was not good. It was a very long and painful procedure, and I wish I hadnt done it. The person who did my whitening didnt seem very experienced. My prep alone (just putting the gum barrier on) took 30 minutes. This was also painful, as she kept poking my gums with a sharp tool. During the procedure, I had to hold my mouth open and she would use the suction tool every few minutes. She often missed and different parts of my mouth got suctioned and hurt instead (the papillae under my tongue are still swollen from this). My bottom gums got burned from the bleach during this procedure and it hurt pretty bad. Not to mention the insane tooth sensitivity afterwards. Overall, I would not do teeth whitening with Swish again, and I would advise others to stick to regular cleanings and other services with Swish like Invisalign. Maybe its my own fault for not doing enough research on the Boost Whitening procedure. But given the chance, I would NOT do it again. I dont believe it was worth it, both in terms of time and money ($175).
