I signed up with an unscrupulous supplier at sams club for my consumers. I have always paid on time and was on the plan that makes your payments the same monthly. I kept paying my scheduled payments until I got a shut off notice. Then I received a very unwelcome surprise that the company had been charging me double what consumers themselves did. I applied for assistance with dhs and they would only pay $80 of my 1200 bill. So I was referred here to help with that copayment. I did everything they told me to do and called many times to see why I wasn’t getting responses. Finally today they contacted me to tell me dhs had considered this copay an overage and that they couldn’t help me but they waited so long that my dhs ser was now expired too and so now I’m stuck with a $1200 bill right before Christmas after losing my job due to a new disability and a shut off scheduled for the 11th if this place even keeps the hold on.
