I just to love eating here until yesterday. My goodness can someone clean this place? Everything is so so dirty, floors, around the kitchen, chairs, ect . I would never be back. People clean, is not so hard.
First time in Domu Chibi. I walk in to a kiosk, put my phone number, name and begin to select my meal. The place was busy and packed. I decide to step outside and wait outside to practice social distancing. I waited over an hour thinking they would send me a message letting me know my order was ready to take out. I never did. Employees didnt really care much. I got explained after the fact on how Domu works. My order was the only order sitting there and no one cared to double check. Why do you guys ask for a phone number if its not to follow up on an order? I picked up my order 20min before closing being right outside. I was giving the benefit of the doubt that they were just busy. Im not blaming them for my mistake and stupidity. Its just not very new guest friendly. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. I hope in the future they use a texting service with their kiosk so people can get notified when their order is ready and not have to wait inside. It was just too packed inside to just stand there and wait for your order to be called out by someone. Anyway, cheers to microwave reheated ramen.
Worth the wait! The wings are an absolute MUST! If you want a safe ramen choice, get the Richie Rich (pictured). The soft serve was ube and it was delicious! Everything pictured was a 10/10. They're busy for a reason!
Wings were incredible as advertised and definitely worth it. Fun options from standard ramen to cool flavor combos. Good vibes, good drinks. Might have to wait for your seats but that's easily managed by enjoying the East End Market area as well as the Neighbors.
I haven't been to Domu Chibi since they first opened and I was so disappointed by the service. I ordered on the kiosk and waited for my food. It came out and I came to get it, they called my name once and left it on the counter. I got my food and asked for sriracha, the 3oz container only had a drop of sauce in it. I began eating, then once I was half way done with my meal I realized they never gave me the boiled egg in my rice bowl. I went up to ask and all they said is that they are out right now. I can understand that they don't want to offer substitutions or anything, but it felt like a slap in the face for them to not even tell me or mention it when there is a giant picture in their menu of it and it costs extra to add it, but my meal wasn't less for them leaving it out and not telling me. I would give them a one star but Domu still has amazing food despite this terrible service.
