We met with Devon in February to get information about Pella windows. (we have a window in need of replacing) Devon was very informative. He demonstrated how Pella's windows were made and how they work. We purchased a double pane window, very similar to the one we already have installed, to replace the one we have that has a leaky seal. We really appreciate Devon's knowledge and helpfulness on selecting a new Pella window.

Lies and deception. My wife and I had the Pella salesman and Pella Manager of the Grand Rapids Office come to our home to measure a 8'x6' living room window for a replacement. They measured the opening personally. They promised the window would be complete in 4 months. We ordered the window based upon confidence in the name Pella In 8 months the window arrives, and it is 7 inches too long. When we contacted them, they said the error was not on Pella but on the homeowner. The manager claimed that it was homeowners responsibility to verify the Pella employees measurements. They didn't say they were sorry, didnt offer our money back, or to build a new window. They said sue us. The window is now in my garage I am 69 and my wife is 74. We have always worked in offices, how we would be expected to be knowledgeable about their product, is amazing to me. Long story short I am out 4800.00 and only recourse is the legal path. I plan to share this story with everyone I know, and as many social media sites I can find. Very disappointed in a company that claims to be a leader in their industry.
