We cannot, however, guess what weight is loaded in a vehicle until it is weighed in unloaded and weighed out. Once material has been unloaded we do not reload.

I've been here quite a few times now. This place is probably the best scrap yard in town, but it depends what day you go in otherwise it's the same as the others. If you get any of the younger guys at the scale you'll have a very pleasant experience, as they genuinely want to get you the best prices and will thus help you sort your metals out and take their time to help you out. If you get any of the older guys at the scale, I highly recommend you come back another day. They don't care about their customers at all and will purposely downgrade your scrap (they recently graded my cast aluminum as sheet aluminum even though I sorted it myself very well, as well as another few occurrences longer ago, which is why I'm now making this review and recommendation). The administrative staff in the office are all fantastic. Overall, only come here on the days the younger guys are in, otherwise hold off.

Went there to scrap some wire and it was quick and convenient. The people who work there always have a pleasant demeanor. Top notch.

If you want to get ripped off, come here. You can buy cheaper steel from PDM Steel, or if you want to sell metal/copper/etc.. check out western metal recycling.
